Darla Bair, Founder and Artistic Director
Miss Bair maintains an active career as a writer, composer, and producer of seasonal musicals for civic organizations and churches to use as fundraisers as well as of children's musicals that coordinate with New York State Curricula. Miss Bair maintains a Voice and Piano studio in her home. She studied Voice with Nancy Kennedy at the Eastman School of Music and holds degrees in Music Education, and Interdisciplinary Arts. Miss Bair has been the Guest Conductor for many All-county Chorus Festivals and is listed in the National Registry of Who's Who in Executives and Professionals as well as in the 2002 and 2004 editions of Who's Who in America's Teachers. In January, 2010 Miss Bair received the Golden Apple Teacher award from Rochester's Channel 8. She has authored several books, including "Singing Families" - a Music idea book for Music teachers and home schooling families. "Gingerbread Manor Cookbook", and "Teaching Music Theory through Christmas Carols". Miss Bair is the Secretary of the Greater Rochester Choral Consortium and taught Theory, Advanced Placement Theory and Chorus at the High School level.
Laurie Camman, Executive Director
Mrs Camman held two positions on our Board of Advisors before stepping up to take the helm: Volunteer Coordinator and Fundraising Chairperson. She and her husband Michael have two daughters, the youngest of whom is a ten-year veteran of the Amadeus Chorale. Laurie has acted and sung since childhood and has been seen playing the role of "killer" in the Amadeus Chorale's Murder Mystery Dinners. She brings her skills and talents from the corporate world to this leadership position in the Amadeus Chorale.
Sally Martin, Grace Notes Director and Accompanist
Mrs Martin holds degrees in Piano and Curriculum and Planning from Roberts Wesleyan College. She teaches Pre-K through Grade 6 Music at the Holley Central School District and directs the 5/6 Chorus. In addition to being the Holley Fine Arts Department Chairperson, she is the Music Director for the Brockport United Methodist Church, where she plays organ and conducts the choirs. Sally is nationally certified to teach the "Music Together" young children's program, and is a member of MENC, NYSSMA and GRAOSA. Mrs. Martin's lyrics were featured in "We Sing for the children", written by Mary Lynn Lightfoot and published by Heritage Press. Sally has directed both the Children's and Youth Choirs for the Amadeus Chorale and has directed the Grace Notes program since its inception.
